UTZ Certified stands for sustainable farming and better opportunities for farmers, their families and our planet. Since 2002, 20.000 small-scale coffee and tea farmers have been trained in sustainable cultivation methods by D.E Foundation. Douwe Egberts is the largest purchaser of UTZ certified coffee and tea in the world, 1/3 of our tea sold in Europe is UTZ certified. Currently 14% of our green coffee comes from UTZ Certified sources and 40% of our tea
